WELCOME
Visiting Russia, either as a tourist or working there as a businessman, is not for everyone. Russia is a country of extremes and this is shown in the way some Russians behave. Although the days of Russian Businessmen walking into Moscow hotels and shooting their competitors are over and it is now not such a dangerous place to be, it is still a challenging environment in which to operate.
Matthew Francis went out to Russia in 2002 and spent a number of years there, running a business and generally trying to integrate into Moscow life. His experiences are told in a number of books that are being produced, his first being RUSKIE: Beers, Bears & Babushkas.
