Vladivostok
Vladivostok is in the Far East of Russia and is 10 hours ahead of London. The city struck me as beautiful but is currently preparing for an Asian Conference in 2012. This meant that a lot of the city is currently being developed and for this reason a lot of Vladivostok resembles a building site. However, saying that, it is clear to see the beauty of the city and I would certainly recommend visiting there. Maybe however, a better idea is to visit once all the development has been completed in 2012.
